RePo-SUDOE
Drug Repurposing for Effective and Accelerated Drug Development in the SUDOE Space
The RePo-SUDOE project aims to develop and disseminate technologies for drug repurposing to increase the competitiveness of the SUDOE space in this R&D area, promoting the biopharmaceutical industry and attracting highly trained human resources.
Main Objectives
- Scientific Knowledge: Promote and disseminate drug repurposing technology alongside public and private actors to reach European excellence.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Identify innovative opportunities in the SUDOE territory through a transnational network and the creation of a therapeutic target database (using cancer as a primary case study).
- 3D Visualization: Develop a 3D visualization prototype using Virtual and Augmented Reality for interactive study of biological systems, targeting students and researchers in STEAM areas.
Project Tools & Platforms
The project has developed several specialized platforms to support research and education:
- RePo-EDU: Educational resources and training materials.
- RePo-VRE: Virtual Research Environment for drug repurposing.
- RePo-BOT: Automated assistant for project-related queries and data.
